Beaches
Moving
away on foot from the Rapallo's seafront in the
direction of the Porticciolo, there are a few small
beaches.
On the road to Portofino, you can find a small bay
called San Michele where there are some beautiful
beaches; this bay is reachable by bus or on foot as it is only
1 Km from Rapallo.
If you leave S. Michele and walk along the coastline, it is possible to
reach other inlets in the rocky coastline.
At the end of the port of Santa Margherita Ligure,
along the road to Portofino, you can find both public
and private beaches.
If you go on, you arrive at Paraggi (1,5 Km from
Portofino) a beautiful little bay where the water is a lovely emerald
colour.
Once you've reached Portofino you can go on only by foot or by boat and
you can arrive at another beautiful bay, called San
Fruttuoso.
Boat trips
Boats leave from
the pier on the Rapallo seafront and you can go to Santa
Margherita Ligure, Portofino, San
Fruttuoso, Camogli, Cinque
Terre.
It is possible to get off at any of the first four stops and continue
the journey on foot along the beautiful walking paths of Portofino
Natural Park and then retake the boat at any of the other stops.
Diving in Portofino's Marine Park
In the surroundings
you can find a lot of Diving Centres.
These centres offera lot of services:
renting equipment, refilling tanks, guided immersions, scuba diving courses,
underwater filming and photographic courses, showers and changing rooms.
Furthermore the centre offers other water-sports such as windsurf, water-skiing
